Mental Health
Legal Services Agency's Mental Health Legal Services provide specialist legal advice, assistance and representation to people with mental ill health, their relatives and carers. We are able to help with a range of legal issues but have a specialist focus on those listed below.
Our solicitors regularly provide advice and representation in the Sheriff Court, the Mental Health tribunal for Scotland and in Children’s Hearings. We recognise that sometimes help is needed on an urgent basis and we can provide this service. Our solicitors are able to guide you through every step of your case and ensure that your rights are protected throughout.
"I would just like to add that I had no idea how to go about this legal issue. I was advised and instructed throughout the whole process. I was continually kept informed with everything and what was expected of me and what I can expect from the team. I appreciate everything that was done to support me through this entire process."
