Mental Health Legal Service (Glasgow and the West)

  • Phone 0141 353 3354 to make an appointment with one of the project’s solicitors at our office at 3rd Floor, Fleming House, 134 Renfrew Street, Glasgow, G3 6ST (View Map). If necessary, the solicitor can make a home visit
  • Phone the advice line on Tuesdays 11am-1pm on 0141 353 3354
  • For detained in-patients, phone our freephone number on 0800 316 8450 to speak to a solicitor and arrange an appointment in the hospital

Mental Health Legal Service (Edinburgh and the East)

  • Phone 0131 228 9993 to make an appointment with one of the project’s solicitors at our office at 15 Alva Street, Edinburgh, EH2 4PH (view map). If necessary, the solicitor can make a home visit
  • Phone the advice line on Wednesdays 2-4pm on 0131 228 9993

Important information to bring to your first appointment if possible:

  • Proof of identity such as passport or driving licence
  • Proof of where you are living, such as utility bill (for example electricity bill) or letter to your home address
  • Up-to-date details of your income such as a wage slip or a letter from the Benefits Agency
