Preventing homelessness project
LSA aims to help anyone in Glasgow who is at risk of losing their home and/or becoming homeless. We can advise and represent tenants, homeowners and other family members. We provide help from various places, with and without appointments, including at Glasgow Sheriff Court.

Thursday: 11am-1pm (street homeless only) and 4-6.45pm (with Glasgow Central CAB)
Tuesday: 2-4pm (LSA only)
Wednesday: 10am-12 noon and 2-4pm (CAB only)
Friday: 10am-12 noon
Saturday: By appointment
- We run helpdesks and provide initial free advice and representation* at Glasgow Sheriff Court: Eviction and Mortgage Repossession Courts:
For tenants involved in eviction cases: LSA staff are available every Wednesday before the eviction court starts at 9.30am and 1.30pm. Please arrive early. The helpdesk is outside the courtroom inside the building.
For homeowners facing eviction/repossession: LSA staff are available every Friday before the mortgage `repossessions` ordinary court starts at 9.30am. Please arrive early. The helpdesk is outside the courtroom inside the building.
* This project is funded by Glasgow Advice Service (GAS) and the Scottish Government to help people threatened with homelessness. LSA will refer people with money advice or benefit problems to the appropriate advice agency. All initial advice and representation is free. LSA will take on cases through its employed solicitors, Brown and Co.
